Michael Stevenson is a financial advisor and co-founder of Soundview Wealth Management, where he partners with individuals, families, trustees, and nonprofit organizations on long-term financial strategy and decision-making.
He began his career as a client-facing engineer, developing a disciplined, problem-solving approach that continues to shape how he advises clients today. In 2018, he joined D.A. Davidson, where he helped grow his practice and deepen client relationships, including through the acquisition of an existing book of business. He was recognized as a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager.
Michael holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and completed the Tuck Business Bridge Program at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
He is actively involved in both the financial and local communities, serving as Vice President of the Seattle Bond Club and as Treasurer and Chairman of the Finance Committee for the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA). He is also a member of the IslandWood Investment Committee.
Outside of work, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two daughters, Quinn and Maya. They live in Kingston, Washington, where he can often be found hiking, mountain biking, tending to his honeybees, or exploring new pursuits such as Pacific Northwest surfing and woodworking.
